Job description

Skilled Aircraft Fitter (vehicle mechanic experience)

Join us at European Foundation for Business Qualification (EFBQ) as a Skilled Aircraft Fitter (vehicle mechanic experience).

Job Details

Location: Airbus Broughton, specializing in wing assembly for Airbus aircraft including A320, A330, and A350XWB.

Role involves assembly, fittings, component installation, and repairs on metallic and composite materials, sometimes in confined spaces or at heights.

Requirements
  • Full Aerospace or Engineering Apprenticeship qualification.
  • Experience in roles such as Sheet Metal Worker, Metal Fabricator, Welder, or Mechanical Fitter.
  • Acceptable qualifications include Indenture, City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC, NVQ Level 2 or 3, Key Skills Level 2, or equivalent.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards.
Shift Options

Double Days: Week 1 - 06:00 to 13:10, Week 2 - 13:30 to 20:40; Nights: 20:45 to 06:00.
