About the Role

Join Guidant in collaboration with Airbus, the world's largest aircraft manufacturer. Based at the prestigious Broughton site within the Wing Build Production section, you'll be involved in assembling wings for Airbus's commercial aircraft, including A320, A330, and A350XWB models.

Responsibilities
  • Assembly, general fittings, and component installations
  • Repair of metallic and composite materials
  • Work in confined spaces or at heights as needed
Qualifications
  • Full Aerospace or Engineering Apprenticeship qualification
  • Experience in roles such as Sheet Metal Worker, Metal Fabricator, Welder, or Mechanical Fitter
  • Additional accepted qualifications: Indenture, City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC, Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2 or 3, Key Skills Level 2
Candidate Attributes
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Openness to continuous improvement and innovation
  • Knowledge of and adherence to high Health and Safety standards
Shift Options
  • Double Days: Week 1 - 06:00 to 13:10, Week 2 - 13:30 to 20:40 (Monday to Friday)
  • Nights: 20:45 to 06:00 (Monday to Thursday)
