Job summary

Ski Bartlett in Hillingdon, Middlesex is recruiting skilled boot fitters for permanent and seasonal roles in our busy boot fitting department.

We offer two-hour, one-to-one appointments to ensure customers achieve the best possible boot fit, with opportunities for full-time or part-time hours. Previous boot fitting experience is welcome and training is available for the right person.

Established in 1965, Ski Bartlett is one of the UK's most popular independent ski shops, with over 50 years of experience. We pride ourselves on our high standards, excellent customer service and the quality of our products. Over the years we have expanded our retail space to house a vast selection of ski products and our online presents is going from strength to strength.

Ski Bartlett is recruiting for the coming season and beyond.

We are a large, independent ski specialist based in Hillingdon, Middlesex (UB10 0NP), serving customers from across London, the Home Counties and well beyond. Our location gives us excellent access to the motorway network and London airports, and our reputation means customers regularly travel considerable distances to visit us.

We have a large and extremely busy boot fitting department, a well-equipped workshop and a busy retail and mail-order operation. We are now looking for enthusiastic, experienced and reliable people to join our team as we reorganise and strengthen the business.

We have opportunities for both permanent and seasonal staff, and for the right people we are happy to discuss full-time or part-time positions.

BOOT FITTERS

This is a key area of our business and we are looking for experienced boot fitters to join our busy department.

Our boot fitting service is based around two-hour, one-to-one appointments, giving our fitters the time to properly understand the customer's requirements and achieve the best possible fit.

The role includes:

• Professional ski boot fitting and customer assessment
• Custom footbed fitting and moulding where required
• Shell modification and other boot fitting work
• Advising customers on boots and associated ski equipment
• Building a relationship with customers who will often return to the same fitter for further advice and equipment
• Working closely with the rest of the boot fitting and shop teams

Previous boot fitting experience would be a strong advantage, although we are prepared to train the right person.

We are particularly interested in people who have a genuine passion for boot fitting and take pride in achieving an excellent result for the customer.

Job Types:
