Portakabin Ltd is seeking an Operations Supervisor for our Bordon site. The role focuses on supervising and supporting operatives in day-to-day site and yard activities, planning workloads, and ensuring safe practices, efficiency, and quality in line with cost and delivery commitments.

The successful candidate will promote health, safety and environment standards, provide guidance to on-site teams, and escalate issues with clarity to drive timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in a supervisor role.
• Solid experience of working in a site or yard environment, with an understanding of safe and efficient operational practices.
• Ability to plan and allocate work, clearly communicating tasks and expectations to operatives.
• Good communication skills, able to build effective working relationships with colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Plan and allocate day-to-day work to operatives ensuring safe practices, efficient operations and cost-effective use of resources.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards, including refurbishment times and guides.
• Promote health, safety and environmental standards, engaging operatives in safe working practices.
• Supervise operatives on site and in the yard, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards of performance.
• Escalate operational challenges or resource issues to the relevant stakeholders, providing clear information to aid resolution.
• Seek approval for changes to standard operating procedures and ensure instructions are followed consistently.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and supporting the adoption of best practice.
