Job summary

Crest Nicholson Operations LTD is looking for an experienced Telescopic Forklift Driver to join our Yorkshire Division on a permanent basis. You will safely operate a telescopic forklift, support sub-contractors, and help maintain a clean, well-presented site.

Key responsibilities include vehicle inspections, unloading and storing materials, and driving efficient material distribution while prioritising safety and waste minimisation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a forklift driver qualification and CSCS card and follow Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
• Must hold a full category B driving license.
• Minimum 3 years' experience on a building site.
• Outgoing, courteous and polite personality.

Responsibilities

• Unlock the site compound and enable access for sub-contractors.
• Maintain forklift through regular weekly inspections.
• Unload materials and ensure safe storage.
• Distribute and load materials for sub-contractors via agreed routes.
• Maintain high levels of site presentation at all times.
• Assist with waste reduction and proper disposal of materials.
