Job summary

ITS TESTING SERVICES (UK) LIMITED is seeking a qualified NDT Technician to carry out inspections on customer sites across the UK and in the Derby laboratory. The role focuses on Ultrasonic, Eddy Current, Magnetic and Penetrant testing, with opportunities to expand into Phased Array methods as training progresses.

Ideal candidates hold PCN Level 2 in UT, MPI and DPI and may have Phased Array or Eddy Current experience.

Qualifications

• PCN Level 2 certification in UT, MPI and DPI as a baseline requirement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NDT inspections on customer sites across the UK and in the Derby laboratory.
• Perform Ultrasonic, Eddy Current, Magnetic and Penetrant inspections.
• Train in advanced methods such as Phased Array and deliver accurate reports.
• Maintain flexibility to adapt to changing projects and environments.

ABOUT YOU

You are a qualified NDT Technician with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and delivering accurate inspection results. You hold PCN Level 2 certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI), with Phased Array and Eddy Current qualifications or experience being advantageous. You enjoy working in a customer-facing environment, are comfortable travelling to sites across the UK, and can adapt to changing priorities and project requirements. You take pride in producing clear, accurate reports and understand the importance of working within audited quality systems. Most importantly, you have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine desire to develop your career in Non-Destructive Testing.

Required skills and experience:

• Ultrasonic Level 2 PCN
• MPI, DPI Level 2 PCN
• Phased Array Level 2 PCN or experience (preferred)
• Eddy Current Level 2 PCN (preferred)
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and projects
