Job summary

Focusmed24 Ltd in Newcastle is seeking an on-site site technician to support a construction materials testing operation. You will sample and test asphalt, concrete and soils, and ensure samples reach the laboratory promptly.

A full driving licence and a CSCS card are essential, with prior site or laboratory testing experience in construction materials preferred. Typical 40–50 hours per week, with a temp-to-perm option after around four months if both sides agree.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and CSCS card required.
• Experience with construction materials testing on site or in a lab preferred.
• Knowledge of sampling across asphalt, concrete and soils is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• On-site sampling and testing across all materials.

RATE

17 to 20 pounds an hour depending on experience.
