Bimplus Manchester depot is recruiting a Site Technician to join our field-testing team. You will travel across Greater Manchester and Cumbria in a company van, performing on-site testing of construction materials to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

The role is field-based, with training provided, and offers overtime opportunities and clear opportunities for career progression within a growing materials testing business.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card is essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Willingness to travel across Greater Manchester and Cumbria.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Travel to construction sites across Greater Manchester and Cumbria using a company van.

Location: Manchester Depot Based

Coverage Area: Greater Manchester & Cumbria

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, plus overtime opportunities

Salary: Starting from £12.71 per hour + Company Van + Training & Development

About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Site Technician to join a specialist team carrying out construction materials testing across a wide range of construction, infrastructure and civil engineering projects throughout Greater Manchester and Cumbria.

This is a field-based role where you will travel to sites in a company van and conduct testing on construction materials to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards. Whilst based from the Manchester depot, the majority of your time will be spent working on-site across the region.

No two days are the same. You may spend a full day carrying out testing at a major construction project or visit several sites in a single day, undertaking a variety of testing and sampling activities.

Training & Development

Full training will be provided to successful candidates. You will work alongside an experienced technician for approximately 2-3 weeks, receiving hands-on guidance before carrying out testing independently.
