Job summary

Sitech Technology Systems Ltd in Scotland (Perth) is seeking a Site Surveyor / Setting Out Engineer to lead the setup of Trimble hardware and 2D/3D machine control calibrations on OEM dealer machines and customer equipment.

You will perform base station setup, assist calibration of on‑machine control gear, and contribute to data processing, drone services, and training, working closely with product, service and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with construction equipment and technology.
• Experience in ground surveying or digital field equipment.
• Understanding of field installation, calibration and service support processes.

We are looking for a Site Surveyor / Setting Out Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Site Surveyor at SITECH, you will be responsible for the set-up of Trimble hardware/firmware (Cab kit), including accurately measuring & calibrating of 2D, 3D & UTS machine control systems on OEM dealer machines and customers construction equipment whilst recording all calibration results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up base stations and perform site calibrations.
• Support the calibration of on-machine control equipment
• Provide a diverse mix of activities including site setups, data processing, professional consultations, drone services, and training.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Management and Marketing team, as well as the Service and Operations team.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Experience of construction equipment and technology.
• Experience of ground survey / digital field equipment.
• Understanding of field installation, calibration and service support processes and documentation
• Ability to work closely with various teams and support the Sales Organizations of SITECH and other OEM Dealer Partners.
• Ensure accurate measurement and calibration of equipment.
• Provide excellent consultation services to customers on land surveying options.
