Job summary

Glanua is seeking a Site Supervisor for wastewater treatment projects in the UK. You will support the Site Manager on live sites, manage mobilisation/demobilisation, and coordinate activities to keep projects on schedule and budget.

You will ensure RAMS, safety standards, and quality controls are in place, acting as key on-site contact for stakeholders and ensuring timely material orders and accurate drawings and quantities.

Qualifications

• HND in engineering/project management or related qualification required.
• Experience in water/wastewater non-infrastructure large-scale projects preferred.
• Safety and site compliance certifications (SSSTS, CSCS) essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Manager with live-site operations and supervision.
• Mobilisation/demobilisation of worksites and coordination of activities.
• Monitor schedule and budget, manage site activities and briefings.
• Ensure RAMS, safety, quality and environmental standards are met.
• Liaise with stakeholders, clients and supply chain on site.
• Order materials, verify drawings/quantities, and control costs.

Site Supervisor - (Wastewater treatment)

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

The main duties and responsibilities of the Site Supervisor are outlined as follows:

• Assisting the Site Manager in all operation duties on live sites.
• Responsible for mobilisation and demobilisation of our worksite/s.
• Co-ordinate and control construction activities ensuring the project runs to schedule and budget.
• Day to day management of site activities, including supervising and monitoring the site operations and carrying out briefings as necessary, preparing RAMS and ensuring compliance.
• Key onsite contact for all Project stakeholders, clients, supply chain partner and visiting parties.
• Ensuring plant and materials are ordered and supplied as required in a timely manner.
• Checking drawings and quantities, ensuring that the information is accurate for the work.
• Always promote exceptional safety and delivery quality standards.
• Ensuring that activities are planned, organised and monitored to ensure safety, time constraints and quality requirements are met.
• Ensuring that all site non-conformities are reported and resolved.
• Ensure all cost aspects are managed proactively and controls are in place.
• Forecasting and management of supervision and direct labour across worksits.
• Overall ownership and accountabilities for their worksites.
