Job summary

Warden Tyne Solutions is currently recruiting multiple Site Supervisors for a civil engineering project on site in Thornaby-on-Tees. You will oversee temporary works and ensure compliance with designs and safety standards.

The role requires a Valid TWS qualification and experience supervising temporary works on major construction projects. Health and safety consciousness is essential, and accommodation support may be provided for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Valid Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS) qualification/ticket.
• Experience supervising temporary works on major projects.
• Strong knowledge of formwork, falsework and temporary works.
• Experience with RC contractor is advantageous.
• Health and safety and quality conscious.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect temporary works including formwork, falsework, propping and access.
• Ensure temporary works installed and used per designs, calculations and method statements.
• Carry out regular site inspections, identifying defects, risks and non-compliance.
• Liaise with the TWC, Site Management and Engineering teams to ensure temporary works are correctly implemented.
• Ensure all temporary works comply with project, safety and industry requirements.

• Ensure temporary works are installed and used in line with approved designs, calculations and method statements.
• Carry out regular site inspections, identifying defects, risks and non-compliance.
• Liaise with the TWC, Site Management and Engineering teams to ensure temporary works are correctly implemented.
• Ensure all temporary works comply with project, safety and industry requirements.

The Person

• Valid Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS) qualification/ticket.
• Previous experience supervising temporary works on major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of formwork, falsework and temporary works associated with reinforced concrete structures.
• Previous experience working with an RC contractor would be highly advantageous.
