Site Supervisor - Engineering

£40,000 - £45,000 + Van + Bonus + 33 days leave + Sick Pay + Overtime + Benefits
Axbridge, Somerset

A brilliant opportunity has just become available based in Somerset, for a reputable and growing company, who are a leader player within their field. You will primarily based at their site in Somerset, however travel will be required to the other sites across the south west.

The Role
  • Supervise a team of 5 engineers.
  • Notify the Site Service Manager when parts and materials arrive for scheduled jobs.
  • Source and order required spare parts.
  • Prepare and manage job costings.
  • Provide cover for the Site Service Manager when required.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and method statement preparation.
  • Complete and submit daily timesheets in line with company procedures.
The Candidate
  • Proven background in engineering or manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • Solid understanding of safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
  • Solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications and systems.
