Job Title: Site Supervisor Power Transmission Infrastructure
Location: Between Inverness and Aberdeen, Scotland

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor to join a major infrastructure project focused on the upgrade and reinforcement of critical power transmission lines between Inverness and Aberdeen. This is a key role within a high-profile civil engineering scheme that supports the UK s transition to a low-carbon future by enabling more renewable energy to flow across the national grid.

As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily on-site operations, ensuring all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate site activities, including subcontractors and direct labour

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards

  • Manage site logistics and day-to-day planning of works

  • Communicate effectively with site management, engineers, and supply chain partners

  • Maintain accurate site records and progress reports

  • Contribute to toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety briefings

  • Support the implementation of project programmes and deadlines

What We re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within civil engineering or utility infrastructure projects

  • Background in power transmission, substations, or heavy civils is highly desirable

  • Strong knowledge of HSEQ best practices and relevant legislation

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project plans

  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification

  • Valid CSCS card

  • Full UK driving licence
