Job summary

Concrete Repairs Ltd (CRL) is looking for a concrete repair supervisor to join our Falkirk team. You will oversee works to contract spec, supervise site operatives, subcontractors, and ensure quality, safety and productivity on site.

Experience in civil/construction supervision, reading RAMS and coordinating daily site activities is essential. We offer 23 days holiday, life assurance, and an employee assistance plan to support our people.

Qualifications

• RAMS knowledge is required.
• Ability to mentor site operatives and teams.
• Strong communication with Client, Supply Chain and Site Team.

Responsibilities

• Delegating duties to site operatives.
• Representing the company at site meetings.
• Motivating, coaching, guiding and supporting operatives.
• Supervision of Sub-Contractors.
• Maintaining site records including RAMS, diaries and QA documents.
• Carrying out toolbox talks, inductions and inspections.
• Raising requisitions for materials, plant and PPE.
• Maintaining photographic site records.
• Ensuring compliance with instructions and safety rules.
• Contributing to a clean and tidy site.
• Adhering to SHEQ procedures.

Job description

Concrete Repairs Ltd (CRL) is currently seeking concrete repair supervisors to join our existing team in Falkirk. You will carry out works to the contract specification and assist management with the day to day running of projects whilst maintaining quality, safety, and production rates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delegating duties to site operatives
• Representing the company at site meetings
• Motivating, coaching, encouraging, supporting & providing guidance to operatives
• Supervision of Sub-Contractors
• Maintaining accurate site records including site measurement sheets, site diary, plant and labour returns, goods recieved sheets and QA records.
• Carry out toolbox talks, site inductions, and site inspections.
• Raising materials, plant & PPE requisitions for hire / purchase.
• Maintaining photographic record of site activities.
• Carry out works in compliance with instructions.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and tidy site.
• Contribute to our uncompromising health & safety for all missions by ensuring copmany SHEQ, and all other procedures are followed.

Knowledge:

Maintained working knowledge of Breakout & Repair Preparation, Water Pressure Cleaning, Basic Hand Placed Repair, Painting, Basic Shutter Repairs, Level Coat, Fairing Coat & Complex Hand Placed Repair method

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to read and understand Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
• Ability to manage and mentor other Operatives
• Collaborative approach to communication with Client / Supply Chain & Site Team

Qualifications

• CSCS Card (Gold) - Achieved or working towards
• Health & Safety Awareness (CITB)
• NVQ Level 3; Occcupational Work Supervision, or equivalent level of qualification in a Construction related discipline - Achieved or working towards.
