Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Site Supervisor to support refurbishment works in the South East and London. The ideal candidate must have certifications including SMSTS or SSSTS, a CSCS Card, and experience in live environments. Responsibilities include updating RAMS, coordinating site handovers, leading day-to-day activities, and ensuring quality standards are met. This freelance contract offers a competitive rate of £25-£26 per hour for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Must possess SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• CSCS Card is required.
• 3 Day First Aid certification is mandatory.
• Pasma certification needed.
• Experience working in a live project environment.

The Role

Site Supervisor / No 2 Site Manager

South East & London

25 / Hour

Supporting the Senior Site Manager on refurbishment works on a key projects in the South East & London. These projects are due to start in January, in the New Year with a view to ongoing works throughout the year.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role you must possess the following;

• SMSTS or SSSTS
• CSCS Card
• 3 Day First Aid
• Pasma
• Previous experience completing projects within a live environment

Duties

• Update RAMS
• Coordinating handovers and sign offs
• Implement and improve existing procedures
• Lead the day-to-day running of site activities
• Update and check against the construction Programme
• Preparation of site documents such as work orders and purchase orders etc.
• Responsible for the successful completion and handover of sections of work on site
• Ensuring quality standards are achieved implementing inspection and test plans.
• Communicate effectively with the client, sub - contractors and senior management team
