Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to manage an educational site in Newham, East London. You will ensure a safe, secure, and well-presented environment, open and close the premises, carry out routine maintenance, and supervise health & safety checks daily.

You will also coordinate contractors and deliveries, maintain site access, and respond promptly to maintenance issues while working split shifts with an immediate start.

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking, site supervision or facilities maintenance.
• Knowledge of health & safety procedures.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.

Site Supervisor - Startford, Newham, East London

Pay: £18-£22 per hour

Start Date: Immediate

Hours: Split Shift - 6:00am-10:00am & 3:00pm-6:00pm

Contract: Full-Time

Driving Licence: Essential

Remedy Education are looking for an experienced, reliable and hands-on Site Supervisor to join an educational setting in Newham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in school caretaking, site supervision, premises management or maintenance who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure and well-presented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and closing the premises
• Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
• Completing regular health & safety and security checks
• Managing contractors, deliveries and site access
• Ensuring the premises are clean, safe and well maintained
• Responding promptly to maintenance and site-related issues

Requirements:

• Previous experience in caretaking, site supervision or facilities maintenance
• Full UK driving licence - essential
• Good practical maintenance and DIY skills
• Knowledge of health & safety procedures
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
• Flexible and comfortable working split shifts
• School experience desirable but not essential

£18-£22 per hour | Immediate Start

An Enhanced DBS check will be required.
