Carrington West is recruiting a Setting Out Engineer/Site Engineer for a long-term project in the Bourton-on-the-Water/Kingston Bagpuize area. You will lead setting-out activities, supervise surveying work, and coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure accurate execution of works on a large sewage treatment project.

The ideal candidate has proven setting-out experience, familiarity with modern survey methods, GNSS/GPS devices, and GIS/data collection tools, plus a full driving licence.

Qualificações

• Proven setting out experience with levelling and traversing.
• Experience with GNSS/GPS survey systems and data collection devices.
• Strong survey methods knowledge and field data handling.

Responsabilidades

• Execute setting out tasks with precision, ensuring accurate levelling and traversing.
• Assist Project Manager in day-to-day site operations, surveying and progress reporting.
• Verify plans, drawings, and setting-out coordinates for project execution.
• Use modern survey methods and devices, including GNSS/GPS and data collectors.
• Process field data using post-processing software such as AutoCAD.
• Mentor junior team members on site as required.
