Site Services Manager

The company is a well-established leader in producing premium products, including fresh and innovative offerings. Over the past decade, it has experienced significant growth, supplying key customers in the UK food retail, wholesale, and foodservice sectors.

Overview

The purpose of your role is to oversee the maintenance and management of all site services, including wastewater, waste, drainage, and external hygiene. This is a key role ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and a safe working environment across the site.

Key tasks

• You will manage and oversee the schedule for general upkeep, cleanliness of the site wastewater plant as well as ensuring all preventative measures are taken to maximise functionality and minimise future issues.
• Ensure all site service equipment is running effectively through agreement of contracts and external suppliers making sure all maintenance carried out is within your agreed financial budget and provide financial reports to support work carried out.
• Take responsibility for and conduct audits concerning legionella as well as BRC and other mandatory responsibilities ensuring the site is maintaining a high safety culture and adheres to all Health & Safety requirements.
• Show strong leadership skills and have open communication with staff, external bodies and contractors.

About You

• The successful candidate shall have experience in a similar facility within Wastewater Plants and will ideally have experience with Membrane Bio Reactor systems. Site Services experience at managerial level will also be desirable.
• An IOSH qualification or equivalent in Health & Safety or Site Services would be advantageous.
