Qualifications

  • Time served apprentice with qualifications to ONC Level or equivalent in engineering discipline.
  • Experience with refrigeration, compressed air and vacuum systems.
  • Experienced and trained in internal or external auditing with understanding of food industry regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all site services and amenity requirements.
  • Ensure safe systems of work and complete permits to work.
  • Carry out PPM tasks and corrective actions as scheduled.
  • Control contractors to adhere to site policies including permits to work.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and housekeeping.

About The Role

Join Our Dynamic Onsite Engineering Team at Forza Foods! We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for Site Services Engineer to become a vital part of our onsite Engineering Team at our Protein site in Normanton. If you are passionate about Engineering and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!

Position Details

Schedule: 4 on 2 off rotating shift patterns of 5:30am - 2:30pm & 2:15pm - 10:30pm

Location: Forza Foods - Site Based Role

Contract Type: Permanent

Your key responsibilities will include
  • Taking responsibility for all site services and amenity requirements
  • Ensuring safe systems of work at all times, completing permits to work where relevant
  • Ensuring all PPM tasks and corrective actions are carried out according to schedule
  • Ensuring all contractors on site are controlled and adhere to site policies, including the completion of permits to work
  • Ensuring all service contract servicing work is carried out according to the schedule
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and housekeeping throughout the amenities, plant rooms and roof spaces
  • Ad hoc duties and tasks as required
What are we looking for
  • Time served apprentice with qualifications to ONC Level or equivalent in an engineering discipline with Electrical knowledge/experience
  • Experience with refrigeration, compressed air and vacuum systems
  • Relevant degree in Food or related subject
  • Experienced and trained in internal or external auditing with understanding of the regulatory requirements of the food industry
  • Ability to highlight route cause analysis and prevention methods to Managers preferred but not essential
  • Previous experience in site or amenity services preferred
