Job summary

Parkside is seeking a Site Service Technician to support our client’s factory in Norwich. The role covers installation, troubleshooting and repair of equipment, ensuring optimal uptime and adherence to SOP operator training.

This is an on-site, customer‑centred position with a rotating 12-hour shift cycle. The role requires professional engagement with customers, completion of expert product training, and proactive maintenance to keep all equipment operating at peak performance during service

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and perform breakdown fixes on equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and performance optimization.
• Provide SOP operator training to customers.
• Engage with customers on-site to ensure equipment uptime 24/7.

Job description

Our client are an international company that supply equipment and machinery at a clients factory in NORWICH. This role is based on the client site supporting the equipment keeping the factory running 24/7.

£32Kpa + £19Kpa shift allowance, 4 shift / 12 hour Rota.

Supports the customer on a rotating shift pattern of four days 7am – 7pm; four days rest; four nights 7pm – 7am, four days rest, repeating.

Position Summary

The Site Service Technician is responsible for maintaining optimal performance and uptime of assigned equipment in a professional and customer centric approach. This role must complete expert level training for assigned products and be able to perform onsite customer engagements including installation, troubleshooting, break fix service, preventative maintenance, performance optimization and standard operating procedure (SOP) operator training to ensure all equipment is operating at the highest level of performance upon service engagement completion
