Job summary

Toyota Material Handling UK is seeking a Site Service Engineer to service, repair and maintain forklift trucks and related material handling equipment within our After Sales team. You will diagnose faults, report concerns, and respond to customer enquiries while aiming to meet targets and comply with company regulations.

The role builds on hands-on experience in mechanical engineering with opportunities for industry leading training and progression within Toyota.

Qualifications

• Experience as forklift engineer or plant fitter or similar.
• Mechanical engineering experience required.
• Basic electrical knowledge beneficial.
• Good planning and organisation skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work on your own initiative.

We are looking for a Site Service Engineer (Site Technician) to work within our After Sales department to maintain, repair, service and modify the companies range of products. This role comes with a competitive salary, an attractive company pension, and the opportunity to work for great company.

About the role

The role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklift trucks and other material handling equipment. On a day-to-day basis this is what you would be doing:

• Service, maintain, overhaul, fault find and resolve faults on company products.
• Fact find and report any concerns.
• To deal promptly with customer enquiries
• Achieve agreed targets.
• Ensure that our company regulations are followed at all times.

We are looking for somebody who has experience working as a forklift engineer, plant fitter, plant technician, industrial equipment, or a similar type of role.
