A leading main contractor is seeking a Site Secretary for a 2-year building project in South West London/Surrey. This long-term freelance or temp-to-perm position may lead to a permanent role. Responsibilities include managing documentation, liaising with suppliers, and attending site meetings. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be IT proficient in MS Office, and possess construction industry experience. Qualifications

  • Some experience with Viewpoint / 4Projects system is preferred.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word required.
  • The ability to multitask and maintain high attention to detail is essential.
  • Experience in the construction industry or working on-site is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Typing up letters and reports.
  • Printing and photocopying documents.
  • Ordering office supplies as needed.
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors.
  • Managing workflow of documentation on EDMS systems.
  • Ensuring all documentation and communication is QA managed.
  • Distributing documents to relevant managers/project teams.
  • Editing and amending documents for accuracy.
  • Creating reports and trackers for project communication.
  • Providing regular training on EDMS systems.
  • Managing all documentation flow and information.
  • Attending site meetings as required.
  • Preparing and organizing information in both paper and digital format.

  • Drive and manage all documentation and the flow of information, ensuring deadlines are met through the project EDMS
  • QA managing all documentation and communication

  • Preparing, organising and filing information in paper and digital form
