Job summary

Anson McCade Pty in Leeds is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join a major national security programme. The role focuses on building and optimizing resilient cloud platforms, with emphasis on AWS, automation and observability.

You will work with DevOps practices to improve scalability and reliability in a secure environment. Candidates must have 3+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong Linux skills and hands-on AWS experience, and be eligible for DV security clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' commercial experience in a Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or Platform Engineering role.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience.
• Excellent Linux administration and scripting skills.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting across the technology stack.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.

Salary: Up to £72,000 + package

NOTE: Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible to obtain DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance.

We're supporting a major national security programme that requires an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to help build, support and optimise critical cloud platforms. This is an opportunity to work on highly impactful technology within a secure environment, helping to deliver resilient services that underpin important national missions.
