Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to help run and evolve the platform that powers our decision intelligence work. You will join a collaborative Infra team and shape its direction while driving multi-quarter workstreams with clear goals.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and Terraform in production environments.
• Proficient in Python or Go for operational tooling and automation.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, failure modes, observability, and blast radius.
• Ability to own problems end-to-end and see initiatives through to completion.

Requirements

• Solid AWS and Terraform experience
• Comfortable writing Python or Go to solve operational problems
• Think in distributed systems: failure modes, observability, blast radius
• Take problems end-to-end rather than stopping at the edges of your own work
• Pragmatic about AI tooling
• Open communication and comfortable pushing back when necessary.

Core Competencies

Demonstrates expertise in AWS and Terraform for infrastructure management, along with proficiency in Python or Go for operational problem-solving. Capable of driving multi-quarter workstreams and contributing to AI tooling strategies within a collaborative team environment.
