Job summary

Focus Cloud is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in London to join a 3-month contract. The role is on-site (1 day per week in Central London) and pays £600 per day inside IR35. ASAP start for a developer-turned-SRE with strong cloud platform experience.

Role: Site Reliability Engineer

Rate: £600 per day (Inside IR35)

I'm looking for a Site Reliability Engineer with a software engineering background to help improve the reliability, scalability, and security of my client's cloud platform.

This role will focus heavily on GitHub Actions, ArgoCD and modern deployment practices, working closely with both Platform and Product Engineering teams to ensure applications are deployed and operated safely at scale.

Key Requirements

• Strong software development background (Node.js, TypeScript, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong ArgoCD and GitOps experience.
• Kubernetes and AWS expertise.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
• Understanding of cloud security, distributed systems, and production operations.
