Job summary

Wates Property Services is seeking an experienced Site Surveyor to join a social housing contract delivering planned maintenance and retrofit programmes, focusing on occupied homes and sustainability improvements.

You will survey properties, produce scopes of work, and support project delivery with QA, health and safety, and client liaison. A relevant surveying qualification and full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Surveyor or related roles in social housing
• Experience with property surveys, specs, and cost information
• Relevant qualification in Building Surveying
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and building pathology
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed surveys of occupied social housing properties
• Specify planned maintenance and retrofit requirements
• Produce schedules of works, specifications and cost information
• Support project delivery and report on quality and safety
