Job summary

The Collective Network Limited are seeking a Site Quality Manager in Suffolk to own quality across the whole site. You will be the on-floor leader, the go-to person for quality, and the interface with Ops, Engineering, Hygiene and NPD to keep quality front and centre.

You will drive audit readiness for BRCGS and retailer standards, manage complaints with rigorous root cause analysis and CAPA, and develop a high-performing quality team committed to continual improvement across high-volume

Qualifications

• Quality management experience in food manufacturing, ideally on a high-volume site.
• Solid knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS and retailer standards.
• Ability to influence across shop floor to senior leadership.
• Level 4 HACCP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site's quality team and nurture a quality-driven culture across the site.
• Keep the site audit-ready for BRCGS, customer audits, and retailer visits.
• Handle complaints with root cause analysis and CAPA to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with Ops, Engineering, Hygiene and NPD as an equal partner.
• Use data to spot trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop your team and create clear progression paths.

Site Quality Manager

You've almost certainly eaten what they make, and probably this week. It's a big, high-volume site making household-name brands, owned by a business that takes food safety seriously. It also backs the people who run quality instead of just asking them to sign things off.

They need a Site Quality Manager to own quality across the whole site. That doesn't mean sitting in an office polishing the HACCP plan. It means being on the floor, being seen, and being the person production comes to before there's a problem, not after.

What you'd be doing:

• Leading the site's quality team and the culture behind it, so quality is something the whole site does, not just your department
• Keeping the site audit-ready every day, whether it's BRCGS, customer audits or retailer visits
• Handling complaints, root cause analysis and CAPA properly, so the same issue doesn't keep coming back
• Working with Ops, Engineering, Hygiene and NPD as an equal partner, not as the department of “no”
• Using data to spot trends early and push continuous improvement
• Developing your team, because good people want to know where they're heading next

What they're looking for:

• Quality management experience in food manufacturing, ideally on a high-volume, multi-line site
• Solid knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS and retailer standards
• Someone who can get a room on side, from the shop floor to the senior leadership team
• Level 4 HACCP or equivalent
