Job summary

SUNOTEC is seeking a Site QA/QC Engineer to ensure quality throughout renewable energy construction projects in the UK. You will implement QA processes, review documentation, and perform on-site inspections to prevent defects and support successful handovers.

The role requires a technical background, 2+ years in EPC quality roles, and strong ability to interpret drawings and standards. Join a growing EPC team delivering major UK projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or NVQ Level 4+ in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of QA/QC experience in EPC construction projects, ideally in renewable energy.
• Good understanding of UK construction standards and quality management.
• Experience with site inspections, ITPs, quality documentation and non-conformance management.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications to identify quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor quality standards across EPC construction activities.
• Review technical documentation and carry out site inspections.
• Identify, document and manage non-conformances; coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with approved ITPs and project quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate quality records and handover documentation.
