Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 44 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Overview

Ready to take full ownership of a busy manufacturing site? We're looking for a Site Production Manager to lead a skilled team at our vehicle body workshop in Trafford Park. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll drive production, uphold quality, and make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily workflow, production schedules, and ensure all targets are met.
  • Enforce strict health, safety, and quality standards on the shop floor.
  • Lead 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Recruit, mentor, and coach your team, fostering a culture of high performance.
  • Manage materials control to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
  • Report on KPIs, providing clear updates to senior management.
What You'll Need
  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar Site Production Manager role.
  • A strong background in implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the resilience to perform under pressure.
  • A proactive, self‑driven approach with superb organisational skills.
