Gearing Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Site Operative / Labourer to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will maintain a clean, safe site, assist trades, aid groundworkers, prepare work areas, move materials, and help with site protection and waste segregation.

This role requires a CSCS card; EUSR card preferred, and access to reliable travel due to the site location. You will work under supervision to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Formación

• CSCS card required; EUSR card preferred.
• Access to reliable transport due to location.
• Willingness to perform manual labour on construction sites.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe site by housekeeping and removing waste.
• Assist tradespeople (electricians, pipe fitters, etc.) with general tasks.
• Support groundworkers with excavation, backfilling, leveling and other groundworks.
• Prepare work areas and ensure materials and equipment are ready for use.
• Load, unload, move and distribute materials, tools and equipment on site.
• Assist with storage and handling of construction materials.
• Support delivery and collection of materials and maintain organised storage areas.
• Assist with installation and removal of temporary barriers, fencing and site protection.
• Help maintain safe access routes, walkways and working areas.
• Segregate and dispose of waste per site procedures and environmental rules.
• Assist with site clearance and reinstatement after works.
• Report hazards, damaged equipment or unsafe conditions to site supervisor.
• Follow site rules, risk assessments, method statements and supervisor instructions.
• Wear required PPE and ensure proper usage at all times.
• Collaborate with site operatives, tradespeople, groundworkers and management to complete work safely.
