Job summary

Lennard Business Services is assisting a client in Rotherham to recruit a Site Operative / Loading Shovel Operator. The role is on a Monday to Friday dayshift, 40 hours per week with a half-hour dinner, starting at 07:30 and finishing at 16:00.

Responsible for site duties such as paper picking and plasterboard, with loading shovel operation and related tasks across brick plant, drier and warehouse as required. Flexibility to cover holidays or sickness is expected.

Qualifications

• Shovel/telehandler/FLT/Bobcat skid steer tickets advantageous; training available.

Responsibilities

• Predominantly site duties including paper picking and plasterboard, operating loading shovel.
• Other operations across brick plant, drier and warehouse as needed by site.

Job description

My client is looking for a Site Operative / Loading Shovel Operator for their site based in Rotherham S60. Immediate start available for the successful candidate!

40 hours per week on days Monday - Friday – half hour dinner, on site 8.5 for 8hrs pay - 07.30-16.00

Predominantly site duties paper picking and plasterboard, operating Loading shovel etc.

Other operations and work as part of role on the brick plant, Drier and warehouse etc wherever the operational staff need is.

Must be flexible to cover holidays or absence of other staff on the shift pattern days and nights if needed (would be paid higher rates when covering additional shifts) Nights cover is rare but flexibility to cover holidays or sickness must be considered.

Shovel, telehandler, FLT, Bobcat skid steer & road sweeper tickets and experience a distinct advantage, although training will and can be given to the candidate if needed.

25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Salary Permanent £27,976 per year (equates to £13.45 per hour) With Options for Overtime.
