Job description

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Site Operative/Ground Worker to join our client’s Installation Team, installing a range of prefabricated steel structures across the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to assist and support the Installation Supervisor during the installation of the prefabricated structures and substructures, either on new build sites or in existing workshops. The process involves marking out the excavation, assisting the Supervisor during excavation and installation of the structure and pouring concrete.

Work pattern

The successful candidate will be working away during the week, mainly Monday to Friday; however the occasional weekend may be required. Food and lodgings will be paid for, and transport to site is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundworks, concrete handling/floating is required
• Driving licence
• CSCS and CPCS card is essential
• Forward Tipping Dumper and Telehandler licence (Desirable, although full training will be given to the successful candidate)

Employment type

This role is initially on a temporary basis but could be permanent for the right person and offers a competitive salary.
