Job summary

Site Operations Manager role in Ipswich within a manufacturing/chemical setting. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant performance.

You will lead health and safety, stock control and regulatory compliance, working with Commercial and Distribution teams to meet customer requirements. NEBOSH qualification and a UK driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in industrial manufacturing or similar
• Strong knowledge of health & safety, environmental and quality management systems
• Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments
• Track record of operational leadership and employee development

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the bulk storage site.
• Lead health, safety and wellbeing of employees, contractors and visitors.
• Manage raw materials, finished products and external storage facilities.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, productivity, and quality.
• Provide regular reporting to senior management and collaborate with commercial teams.
