Job summary

South East Water is seeking a Site MEICA Commissioning Engineer based in Barcombe, East Sussex. You will lead MEICA installation, testing and commissioning for capital projects to the highest industry standards.

You will drive commissioning plans, witness testing, on-site inspections and handover, coordinating with Project Managers and Operations to ensure safe, compliant plant. A degree or HNC and PLC/HMI/VSD knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• HNC or Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Extensive MEICA installation experience with technical excellence.
• Experience in operations and commissioning in water utilities.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI and VSD equipment and their applications.
• Strong organization and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure commissioning and handover plans are robust for each project.
• Lead on-site testing, inspections and documentation per standards.
• Support design reviews and option analysis for technical solutions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver projects on time.
• Ensure Operations teams are trained on new equipment.
