Job summary

United Infrastructure Power T&D Limited is seeking a General Operative to support materials and logistics across multiple UK sites. You will assist with site setup, movement of materials and basic maintenance, ensuring safety and efficiency on busy projects.

The role requires hands-on labour, a driving licence and overhead line experience, with a commitment to safety and teamwork within a growing organisation.

Qualifications

• Asbestos awareness and safety training are required.
• First aid and fire safety knowledge are essential.
• Environmental awareness and safe manual handling are expected.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and implement project plans, ensuring safe high‑standard works.
• Load, unload and move materials and equipment on site.
• Maintain signage, site setup and housekeeping per procedures.
• Assist with laying out materials and supporting the Materials & Logistics Specialist.
• Operate plant and vehicles safely and report hazards.
