Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Site Manager to lead the ECI phase and early works at a Water Treatment Works in Waterlooville, Hampshire. You will oversee ground investigations, trial holes, site establishment, and access road setups, coordinating with design engineers and the delivery team.

This long-term contract is outside IR35, pays £400-£450 per day, and requires CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, and EUSR cards. You\'ll manage subcontractors, safety, ITPs, RAMS, and daily diaries while ensuring progress

Qualifications

• Water sector background required.
• Experience delivering site surveys, ground investigations and early works.
• CSCS card (Management / Black or Gold) required.
• SMSTS & First Aid at Work required.
• EUSR National Water Hygiene card required.
• Desirable: TWC or CAT & Genny / Service Avoidance training.

Responsibilities

• ECI & Site Preparation: oversee early site activity in Waterlooville including ground investigations, service mark-outs, trial holes, site establishment, and access road setups.
• Constructability Input: review buildability, logistics, sequencing and temporary works strategies during ECI phase.
• Subcontractor & Site Leadership: manage frontline subcontractors, survey teams and trades to keep lookahead on track.
• Health, Safety & Environment: enforce water sector safe systems, RAMS reviews, permits to Dig/Work, and safe interface on assets.
• Quality & Documentation: manage ITPs, maintain site diaries, track non-conformances, report progress.
