Job summary

Galliford Try Asset Intelligence is recruiting a Site Manager for a Thames Water Security Upgrade site in the UK. The role oversees day-to-day construction, ensures safety, quality and programme adherence, and coordinates with subcontractors and Thames Water stakeholders.

You will maintain strong site control, keep accurate records, and support the Senior Site Manager and Project Manager in delivering the project on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager or similar on construction/infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of RAMS, permits, inspections, and programme updates.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, designers, and client representatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site activities, subcontractors, deliveries and site logistics.
• Maintain and update short-term programmes with lookaheads.
• Review RAMS, permits, and briefings before works proceed.
• Maintain site diaries, records and progress updates.
• Coordinate site meetings with subcontractors, designers and Thames Water representatives.
• Support procurement, including POs and delivery tickets.
• Maintain site budget records and report progress and risks.
• Review lift plans and temporary works registers.
