Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Small Works Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple insurance reinstatement projects across Scotland. This role requires strong project management experience within the construction or insurance sectors, along with excellent organisational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple insurance reinstatement projects from start to finish, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Lead pre-start meetings with all relevant stakeholders, including policyholders, to set clear project expectations.
  • Maintain regular communication with policyholders throughout the project, addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
  • Prepare accurate material and plant requisition sheets to ensure resources are available when needed.
  • Track project schedules and labour allocation to prevent delays and maintain efficiency.
  • Maintain daily communication with labour planners to ensure projects are properly resourced.
  • Oversee health and safety standards on-site, conducting inspections and resolving any issues identified.
  • Record and manage variations promptly, providing surveyors with full details, measures, and photographic evidence.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, highlighting any challenges and solutions.
