Job summary

Construction Resources Limited in Leicester is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee retrofit and decarbonisation projects across social housing. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinating clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, a solid understanding of health and safety practices, and experience delivering energy efficiency programmes.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management across on-site teams
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Good IT skills including Excel and Word
• Knowledge of PAS 2030 and PAS 2035
• Experience delivering renewable energy or energy efficiency programmes
• SMSTS qualification and CSCS card
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of construction sites from mobilisation to completion
• Produce weekly progress reports for contract management
• Review RAMS and ensure safe works on site
• Coordinate labour and subcontractor resources to meet delivery programmes
• Deliver toolbox talks and promote a safety culture
• Plan site logistics, welfare facilities and equipment
• Coordinate material orders and deliveries per programme
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and design specifications
• Liaise with commercial teams on costs, variations and updates
• Chair regular progress meetings with clients and subcontractors
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation
• Conduct health and safety inspections and ensure company procedures are followed
