Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a senior role overseeing retrofit and decarbonisation works on social housing stock. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safe delivery to programme and quality standards.

The position requires experience in social housing maintenance and knowledge of retrofit measures, with a strong focus on health and safety and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing construction or refurbishment projects on site.
• Experience working within social housing maintenance.
• Knowledge of retrofit and/or decarbonisation measures such as insulation, windows and doors, heating systems, ventilation, renewable technologies and associated building works.
• Strong understanding of health & safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Relevant construction qualifications, such as SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
• Retrofit experience and relevant qualifications such as PAS 2035/2030 would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage programmes, productivity and site resources to achieve project targets.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure works meet specification and quality requirements.
• Coordinate works across occupied properties while minimising disruption to residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, housing associations, local authorities, clients and other stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, identify potential issues and implement effective solutions.
• Carry out regular site inspections, quality checks and health & safety audits.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving the energy efficiency, comfort and sustainability of homes and communities. You will take responsibility of retrofit works on tenanted housing stock, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and to the required quality standards.

Job Offer
