As part of SP Energy Networks, our Transmission business is delivering some of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. With major investment underway, we're expanding the network needed to support the transition to net zero and create a more sustainable energy system.
We're now looking for an experienced Site Manager (Overhead Lines - Civil Bias) to support the successful delivery of strategic transmission overhead line projects across Scotland.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in civil engineering and construction associated with overhead line projects, including access infrastructure, foundations, drainage, environmental management and contractor supervision.
As Site Manager, you'll act as SP Energy Networks' on-site representative, ensuring contractors deliver work safely, efficiently and in line with programme, quality, environmental and contractual requirements.
We're looking for an experienced construction professional with a proven track record of delivering major civil works within transmission or infrastructure projects.
You'll be confident working in a contractor-led environment, able to challenge constructively, and committed to achieving the highest standards of safety, quality and performance.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as you'll regularly engage with contractors, landowners, project teams and external stakeholders.
