Job description

Overview

The post requires applicants to be degree qualified within an engineering discipline. The candidate should be able to demonstrate the necessary experience and/or qualifications described in the attached Job Description. It would be desirable to have a level of knowledge, understanding and experience of complex electrical / engineering systems in large healthcare premises, including a good understanding of boiler technology and controls, combined heat & power (CHP) plant, complex ventilation systems, chillers, medical gas installations and domestic hot and cold water systems.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant(s) will also have responsibilities to assist with training and education of apprentices and adult trainees ensuring they gain the necessary training and experience to meet the needs of their training program. This will also include some work with managers to identify and set up the training programs.
