Job summary

RG Setsquare currently seeks a Site Manager to oversee refurbishment and new build projects across a framework valued from £1 million to £3 million. The role requires delivering to programme, effective communication with stakeholders, and strong site management on a range of construction works.

The ideal candidate will have a contractor background, a proven client-facing track record, and robust health and safety and financial acumen. DBS checks may be required for site access.

  • Plan logistics, manage plant and labour resources.
  • Run progress meetings with site team and subcontractors.
  • Experience with government-funded construction projects.

Job description

My client, a well run Building Contractor, are looking for a Site Manager to work on a framework of refurbishment and new build projects £1 million to £3 million. The Site Manager will be responsible for the delivery of the project, must be an effective communicator and be able to successfully deliver to programme. Current enhanced DBS essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Controlling all aspects of H&S on site
  • Programming work schedule and monitoring building progress ensuring compliance with regulations and cost limitations
  • Managing site inductions, method statements, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and permits to work
  • Logistics planning, plant and labour resources management
  • Progress meetings with site team and subcontractors
  • Previous exposure to government funded construction projects
Profile

In order to be considered you must have a strong construction background and have previously worked for a quality contractor. You must be able to demonstrate a strong track record in having delivered high profile projects.
