Job Title: Site Manager – Office Refurbishment

Location: Outskirts of Cambridge

Contract Duration: Approx. 50 weeks (starting January 2026)

Project Value: £4 – £5 million

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a high-value office refurbishment project on the outskirts of Cambridge. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day‑to‑day operations on site, coordinating contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
  • Monitor progress against the programme and manage project costs.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Resolve site issues proactively to avoid delays or disruptions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on office refurbishment projects of similar scale (£4–5 million).
  • All relevant and up-to-date qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, Construction‑related degrees or certifications).
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations, construction practices, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience working with USAF or MOD projects is an advantage but not essential.
