Site Manager – Shop Fit-Out (Norwich)

About the Role

Our client, a well-established fit-out contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a retail shop fit-out project in Norwich. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing the site, coordinating trades, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering the project to a high standard — on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all on‑site activities for the duration of the fit‑out project.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site operatives.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Monitor progress, quality, and schedule against programme targets.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Project Manager, client, and design team.
  • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular progress meetings.
  • Ensure snag‑free handover and client satisfaction.
