Site Manager

Industry: Supermarket / Retail fit‑Out

Location: Nationwide

Salary: £50k – £55k + Car Allowance, Overtime for Nights/Weekends (equates to 20–50% of salary)

An established fit‑out contractor is seeking experienced Site Managers to deliver fast‑track supermarket and retail refurbishment projects across the UK. You will be required to travel nationwide and work nights and weekends when needed. Projects range from a 4‑day cosmetic upgrade to a 20‑week full store refurbishment, working with clients including Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury's, and Next.

We offer great progression opportunities; the right candidate can advance to Contracts Manager.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Proven background managing fast turnaround retail or supermarket fit‑out projects
• Experience working in live‑store, new build, and grey‑shell environments
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and site compliance
• Commercial awareness and the ability to deliver within budget and time constraints
• Excellent communication and IT skills
• Full UK driver's licence
• CSCS card appropriate to Site Manager level
• Joinery background
• Confidence leading teams, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining quality on fast‑paced programmes with project values typically ranging from £500k to £5M
