Job Description

Our client is a leading groundworks partner supporting the modular construction sector, known for their solutions-driven mindset and commitment to empowering modular providers to deliver projects efficiently and effectively. They are now seeking an experienced Site Manager — ideally bringing a trusted gang/team — to join their growing operations team on a series of short, fast-paced modular projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site activities and workforce (including gangs).
• Oversee groundworks, deep drainage, and foundations for modular builds.
• Coordinate materials, labour, and subcontractors efficiently.
• Maintain strict health & safety and quality control standards.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery.
• Support landscaping, finishing works, and site handovers.

Ideal Candidate / Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within groundworks or modular construction.
• Strong background in deep drainage, foundations, and external works.
• Able to manage and motivate teams, ideally bringing your own established gang.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to problem-solve under pressure.
