Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join an industry-leading contractor, delivering projects across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and hands-on professional who is confident managing construction sites from start to finish, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and leadership.

The Role

As a Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for the successful delivery of projects on site — ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to specification. You will coordinate subcontractors, lead site teams, and maintain excellent communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure project milestones are achieved
• Lead, motivate, and support site teams and subcontractors
• Drive programmes forward with effective planning and organisation
• Oversee health, safety, and quality standards at all times
• Chair site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and project managers
• Maintain accurate site documentation, reports, and progress records

Essential Requirements

• CSCS Card (preferably Black Card)
• SMSTS certification
• First Aid qualification
• Strong IT literacy and reporting/documentation experience
• Solid background in general building and construction management
• Excellent planning, leadership, and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide

Desirable

• Degree qualified (Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related)
• Knowledge or experience of precast construction
