Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong civils background to lead new build supermarket projects across the UK. This is a hands‑on management role overseeing all site activities, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all site activities from civils/groundworks through to completion of new build supermarket schemes.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring H&S compliance and quality delivery.
• Drive programme performance and maintain accurate project reporting.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with CDM regulations.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a Site Manager on new build retail or supermarket projects.
• Strong civils/groundworks experience.
• Degree (Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar) or equivalent qualification (HNC/HND considered).
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certifications essential.
• Must be willing to travel and stay away nationwide.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
