Overview

Active (Pathways) Solutions are seeking skilled and motivated Site Manager with HV Cabling experience to join our team. You’ll be supporting a range of substation and power distribution project in Abington, Scotland, contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of high-voltage electrical works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage site teams across substation or HV projects, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Substation and HV Cabling experience is required, you must have experience working in challenging environments and must be hands‑on, overseeing and coordinating contractors.
  • Plan daily tasks, allocate resources, and monitor progress against project timelines.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Liaise with project managers, clients, and site engineers to ensure work is completed to specification.
Requirements
  • Valid and up‑to‑date SMSTS certification and CSCS/ECS card and 3‑Day First Aid as minimum.
  • ⚡ Proven experience managing teams on substation, HV, or DNO sites.
  • Verifiable references demonstrating strong leadership and technical knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and quality procedures and mechanical and electrical background on substations.
